stranger 06; ms dockville festival, Hamburg(Germany), 10th of August, 2012

When I entered the festival area, I was rather over-whelmed. I had expected the people on that festival to be just really nice and friendly, but everyone simply appeared so interesting. I wanted to walk around and talk to everyone that had something about them, but in the beginning I struggled with ordering my thoughts, so I simply sat down for a while and listened to the music with the others. Later on, when we stood there to see Boy & Bear, I noticed this girl in front of me and she had something about her that I found more than intriguing. Some kind of attitude, a little impersonal but still not unsympathetic, and so I decided to ask her for a photo. I'm glad I did this. I mean, I could whine at this part about how I took so few photos at the festival (I'm not lying, it's not much at all), but I figured it's good that I don't constantly take photos of everything when I don't feel like it. It's more about living the moment than capturing it, and that is why I am so extremely satisfied with the marvelous weekend I had.
I hope this girl sees this photo. She said she looks stupid on pictures, but right here I find her gaze rather endearing than deterrent.
