Description
This is the first version:Many people talked about the text being too small and I thought it was pretty crowded and scattered (though I still think it was a good first attempt). So to make a better poster, I condensed the crap out of it, both in text and in images to make essentially the same points but with less space, more pictures, and fewer words. I also uploaded a MUCH larger version so you guys can print your own though I DO have it available as prints over at Redbubble:
Buy it here if you like it
POSTER @ REDBUBBLE: [link]
Anyway, I think it turned out really well so what do you think?
EDIT: Cheeseheads are Green Bay Packers fans (football) and the Blue Army are fans of Aerosmith
EDIT2: A lot of people today have commented that they can't believe that anyone would consider KH girly, but it's been more than a decade since it came out so many people forgot or were too young to remember. It's a "Disney Princess" game that uses the word "heart" a lot and has touchy feely "I LOVE YOU MAN" bromance between the main characters. Obviously it's awesome, but I've seen guys who couldn't get past that and wouldn't play the game.

I'm a fan of the show, a real big fan... But I no longer identify with the term 'brony'. The fandom is just filled with self centred jerks who think they are entitled to everything to do with the IP.
"OH WOE IS ME! I'm bullied for liking a cartoon..."Β
People are attacked, maimed, ostracised and even killed every single day for far less, such as being transgender or gay. And the fandom's approach to these issues themselves is questionable, even on the best of days. For one that preaches acceptance and tolerance, I've seen some pretty hurtful things said to other members of your so called 'community'... YOU ARE NOT the single most important thing on this earth.
The fandom's attitude to rape humor as well is something I simply find deplorable. And the way you guys explode when hasbro files cease and desist cases FOR THEIR OWN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY just reaffirms to me how childish and autistic the majority of the fandom leans toward being.
You may simply say "THESE PEOPLE MAKE UP A MINORITY OF THE FANDOM!" but the simple fact is... No, they really do make up the majority. Quit denying it, I see them EVERYWHERE there is pony related content, and it truly sickens me and actually makes me rather ashamed sometimes to be associated with the show...

Dude, when I was at prime school from forh up to sixth grade a gang of kids bullied me on an almsot daily basis. Their torments, degredations and namecalling pretty much shattered my self confidance and security. To this day i suffer because of their actions.
You know why they piked on me? because, as a teacher in my school observed, they liked to hear me cry.
Don't underastimate the damage and pain bulling causes. It dosen't matter what the reason is, or if there is a reason why the bullies pick on someone bulling is a terrible thing to endure. It literally changes people lives, and not for the better.

I was a brony but some of the people in the fandom are jerk. Seriously the one I have met were a@#%&*$ and they were alot. After that, I lose interest to the show (S3) and never watch it since. I'm kind of happy... I never have to talk to those arrogant fanboys. I know people aren't like that in theΒ brony community but I rather stay away from fandom. Also I hate those troll too.

Search results are based on popularity. Fads will always be more popular than long-standing brands. Of course, if they make a new batman series that really captures everyone's imagination, the reverse would happen.

A friend once put it this way: "Bronies often feel the need to defend themselves, but that wouldn't be necessary if they weren't so constantly and viciously attacked".Β
I made this for the bronies who can't think of the words to describe the concepts themselves. It's just a resource for the people who need it and so far, the vast majority of people have thanked me for making it.

Internet victim complexes, cute.

What about this has anything to do with "being a victim"? This was made to explain a simple concept that some people may not have the words to describe. It is a resource only and serves well for that purpose.

You started this conversation by saying. "I don't get why so many bronies feel the need to defend themselves"
Clearly, my comment was directed at the group of bronies you were referring to... in other words the ones that you feel "need to defend themselves".Β I didn't say, nor did I mean to imply that ALL do or even a statistically significant portion of them. But even if you were legitimately confused (hey, it happens), there's no reason at all for you to be rude and condescending.

π: 0 β©: 1
B-CactoArts In reply to Nimaru [2014-01-25 00:04:32 +0000 UTC]
There are other issues that weren't seen yet:
Love and Tolerate - Where those who will accept others opinions or behave but they don't; instead they do offensive things like raging or hating back.
Alicorn and Equestria Girls drama - Not accepting change. Other fandoms have complaints like Korra or something.
Crossovers - Where non-bronies compain that they're favorite things are being crossovered by bronies because its their favorite things too.
Creativity - People complaining that the fandom is full of uncreative vectors, bases, and poor OCs. Like the Sonic Fandom had.
Defending / White Knighting - Bronies defending their fandom, or trying to say what so great about the show/fandom in the first place.

All that means is the same thing I've been saying from the beginning: our fandom isn't really any different than most. Well... then again, we DO seem to have a larger percentage of people who aren't as judgemental and we tend to be more artistic from what I've seen.

Jesus fucking Christ, when did Bronies become a crying minority? The fandom only receives so much hate because it can't keep it's junk out of everyone's faces. And I mean that in more ways than one.Β
Why should I tolerate these asperger ridden neck beards when they invade everything that interests me? And don't go ahead and say "You don't need to look at it." Because we all know that's shit. You can't browse anywhere without encountering these multicolored horses.Β

The "throwing in everyone's face" is mostly a myth and the fact that it's "everywhere" is not an argument. I'm sorry that it bothers you, but your irritation at reality is not our fault nor responsibility.

Chances are if someone has aspergers they will not go out of their way to shove something in another ones face, most asperger afflicted people are introverts so they like to keep to themselves until they find others they like to share interests with. If you don't like the show good for you, the fandom is atrocious yes but every fandom ever is. There is no such thing as a good fandom. Besides, I don't take too kindly to the fandom who hates on anything related to autism or aspergers, those guys are dicks
