Panel 5: "Alone" (ASL)"Tie That Binds" chapter 1 page 3.
Updated 3/2/10. I slept a total of two hours last night because I was up working on these next three "redone" pages. Ugh... brain function is dangerously low... but I like the results of the sleep deprivation. DNA profiling, 2-point perspective, and deadly glares! Woo! Let us continue onward! (I might post the old pages in my scraps just for kicks and giggles...or exclamations of horror...w/e. This is such an improvement. I feel much, much better now.)

It's not your imagination. XD That's just my weird way of amusing myself as I draw the comics. Haha.
I knew some limited ASL, but I have to look up the signs. I listed my favorite online sources in the TTB FAQ .

Okay. XD I can't blame you; I randomly change the lighting on my character's cloak clasp to match her mood sometimes... XD

He's using ASL, silly! In the last panel he is signing "alone." The modified "speech" bubbles are merely a translation of what his hands are saying, which is why they're shaped differently than normal speech bubbles.

He isn't. Grant was "lost" to the Titans in the sense that (in Slade's perspective) he was killed by the Titans. The Titans themselves, not knowing who Jericho's brother is, understandably misunderstood.
