Wow! These are really amazing! I've been thinking of making some footwear and hoping to make some like these myself. Did you learn anyplace or are you self taught?

What material did you use for the soles?
If it's leather, what thickness/type is it?

The soles are double layered. The inner one is about 1mm and the outer sole is about 5-6mm

Hmm... and how hard-wearing are they? I live on a hillside with a lot of rough stony ground in places, and I intend to wear the armour I'm making out-and-about on said hillside.

I'm not acutally sure since I made them as a comission, but the person using them hasn't yet come back to me to get them fixed or anything, so I guess they don't wear that quickly, but of course they're leather and not rubber so they're bound to get worn over time.

Even rubber will wear out over time.

Yeah, sure. My charge for the work would be 350 euros. I'm not sure how much the shipment will cost, but that in addition to the charge for the product it self would be the overall charge.

I love how it's done. Reason I favorited this is because it reminds me of Link's boots from Legend of Zelda(except link's boots didnt have laces)

Uppers? Do you mean the upper leather? There's a seam on the inside. I've sewn them inside out and then afterward I've turned them around.
