So cool looking, and I love the design. I wish I could find some dolphin lineart that looks like this for my dolphin OC

I am wanting to create a web series, which takes place on a planet populated by anthropomorphic creatures (it will be actors/actresses in either fursuits, and a lot of prosthetic make-up effects). However, I am terrible at drawing my own artwork. I was wondering if I could use this image as a reference for the costume/make-up designers to go off of? They definitely will not have the same species name or backstory. It's just the look of them is what I am going for with the dolphin race on Β that planet. I merely want to use the design, or at least give my art designers an idea of how to design them from this image. May I do so?

May i use the species and planet name for a similar race? They are dolphin like but more cartoon looking? Let me know

The picture here was a commission and I'm not sure if the commissioner also created the species/planet name. You may ask him for permission yourself: www.furaffinity.net/user/Lynneβ¦ Β

Very awesome and beautiful. But how do they act as a race? What are they like?

Whoa. Male and female anthro dolphins, really cool. I think I like it.
Do you think to draw anthro orca?

Of all the anthro dolphin-type references I've seen, this one's definitely my favourite and the closest to that 'ideal' form I have in my mind. They have such grace, even from a static pose. I can't really think of much else to say, other than they're perfect. Great work. ^..^

So this is an older piece, but I want to say you did an amazing job combining the anatomy of the dolphin and human. I have never seen it done like this. I have gone through a lot of your work but this is most impressive to me.

No there's a species you don't see in Anthro every day. Impressive.

ItΒ΄s the best Anthro-Form of Dolphins I saw by now... They are my favorite animals since I was a little child and my father bought me a dolphin-plushie in America... ItΒ΄s really amazing.

Do they still need to surface to breath, or can they breath underwater?

Hm, I don't know, but I think they still have to get to the surface to breath, like normal dolphins.

One word... Awesome!
I saw a program on dolphins last night, and as it turns out, each dolphin has a signature whistle, sort of a dolphin "name" as it were. Researchers have also discovered that the part of the brain that deals with emotions in humans is also highly developed in dolphins.
So to recap: Dolphins have "names", emotions, the ability to make conscious decisions, and a highly developed social structure. If that doesn't say "borderline sapience", I don't know what does.
