Description
While I was working on finishing up my Oberyn Martell Armor I decided to put together a little tutorial for creating Dornish Armor as seen on Game Of Thrones. I didn't go into too much detail on the leather dyeing itself as there are a lot of tutorials out there for that, instead I focused on getting the tools required for stamping the pattern in his armor. Examples of this pattern can be found on Oberyn and Ellarias outfits in Season 4 Episode 8 as well as the Sand Snakes armors in the upcoming Season 5.Related content

Haha I was totally guilt tripping over lazy-ing around all day after eating a ton of turkey today; I am hoping to have it done for ohayo/katsucon(?).

How long does a custom aluminum one like that hold up?

It holds up really well, I finished the entire armor suit using a hammer instead of a standard leatherworker's mallet to tool, which would normally damage the tool but since they are fairly thick they are still intact.

I'll have to try making some soon. Gives me an excuse to get new tools
