I've been working on this on the side since the beginning of this year and finally decided to add the final touches so to speak! it was meant to be just a re-draw of a pose sketch I started but then I decided to kill two birds with one stone and see if I could still do a fake screen-cap!

The original image was only 100ppi so it ended up workign out for the 'retro' feel to the final product.

I really hope you guys enjoy! Below is the excerpt I had written out to set the scene and make some semi-canonical dialogue to produce the 'subtitles' from, Please read (if you have a spare moment) and let me know if you have an critiques or suggestions for writing in the future!

She was caught.

Crystal had been in this situation far too often, opting to instinctively focus on breaking free rather than letting her mind wander to what the demon was trying to get into her brain.

"Oh, do not tell me you've already forgotten. The screams? Their cries of anguish as you decimated their homes; set their only source of nutrition ablaze~"

The smoky figure finally emerged from the tangle of protrusions, mere inches away from the struggling girl. She had taken his bait. "Lies! I Would rather die before ever turning into that thing again!"

Her lower body was freed but now she was hanging, being choked slightly, by the appendage holding her in mid-air.

"That 'thing'," he chuckled, circling "- do not try and separate yourself from it, it would be unfair to shift the blame so easily. Or have you... truly forgotten again?" The demon lord stopped, a clawed hand weaving its way through her hair.

Crystal continued to focus on getting loose but her body shivered at the contact, the fear welling up in her chest "I would never forget something like that." She grunted between short, strained breaths. She needed to get out, and fast.

"Oh? Shall I remind you?"

With a flick of Daemon's wrist the smoke settled around a point in front of the two and began to swirl. Within the forming sphere began a small projection of images flashing rapidly.

"Surely you wouldn't forget about why the kingdoms all shunned you for existing?"

That phrase struck a chord, she had little choice but to be revisited by the nightmares from her past visions. Blurred as they were she could still make out the faces of fear and distrust that made a lasting impression on her mind.

"They...they didnt want a half-demon to be the next in line, what does that have to do with-"

He cut her off. "They were afraid of your power. You were too destructive," Another swirl revealed the next image, holding on a memory of when she last went feral. "Being a half-blood was never the only reason they were so quick to distrust you. Will you blame your favorite blue-blood for your little outbursts as well? Was it all his fault that you lashed out all this time?"

It was getting hard for her to breathe. Her panic rising, she bit her tongue attempting to wedge some space between her and his body which was too near for comfort already. "N-no but I wouldn't remember the times when he-"

A sinister, mocking laugh came from the demon as his hand held her face tight.

"Oh, being hypocritical are we? Surely you cannot expect me to believe you were not at all conscious when you both shared the same soul? Come now child, we both know that's not the truth." He gazed at her struggling figure, his five eyes all surveying her face.

Crystal gave a defiant glare at the smallest of them.

"It was all. You."

Each word was laced with a pang of intention, his voice commanding her attention and inner doubt.

The demon made another gesture. This time, a familiar voice sounding from the projections, the words of caution that Tenzo had spoken to her Uncle K: 'we cannot risk her finding out or it will happen again...'

She froze, her gaze becoming distant as she tried to tear her eyes from his face.

No.

"Yes, sadly even they are aware of it. And you know all too well what about."

"I- " she couldn't fight the thoughts that started filling her head. Her mind slipping now as connections began to click into place, amidst all the whispers and medical center visits as of late: Her arm becoming unresponsive, the crystal being drained so often without her knowledge as to why when all she had done was rested-

"There are only so many stories one can tell themselves before they start believing their own narratives for truth. You understand, don't you child?"
