Here's the eight drawing for Sonic's upcoming 30th Anniversary. This here is Mecha Knuckles, a robotic doppelganger of Knuckles the Echdina created by Dr. Eggman who debuted in Sonic Advance, Sonic's first title on a Nintendo console.

Mecha Knuckles was created by Dr. Eggman to build his own empire to stop Sonic and his friends getting to him. As the four heroes, which consists of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy arrive at Angel Island Zone, they encountered the metallic fake of the red echidna and fought it. Mecha Knuckles was soon defeated by the four, causing it to malfunction and explode.
