Description
This one is relatively old and it was something I submitted to Richard Starkings of "Elephantmen". My hopes were to get some kind of response from him, anything at all but I got nothing. I was hoping to color some covers or do a pin-up but what can you do. It was a bit disappointing but I moved on.Related content

Such an awesome rendition. Don't know what the blood splatters are for but the arms, hands, and torso look really amazing. It seems like he's pointing in my direction as if he needed a friend or a helping hand

I don't know. Maybe he was in a fight and seriously messed someone up. Adding blood seemed like a good idea at the time. I believe this was close to the beginning of my Frank Frazetta phase when I had to paint everything like the famous fantasy artist. I still do that from time to time because I like that painting on canvas look.
