a rather quick one i made this afternoon i m still working on my planets and i think ill use this one i some of my work to come,cause it has some nice detail on the other side thats not visible here,already have a terragen render for it,cheeers!!Related content

Nisht, this is absolutely beautiful.
I really like the light of the star cluster, how it bathes the large planet in a holy-like light. The whole cluster looks as if sunlight is breaking through clouds, but in space... It's hard to explain, but it's very moving. It caught me off guard.
Again, great stuff for inspiration. An instant favorite.

Since I'm totally reloading my computer (I screwed up so had to reinstall Mandriva from scratch) - I'll be modeling again in a few days.

Good work you need to concentrate on getting your planets to blend in with your pieces better, and you'll have some really fantastic work ^^

meu,yeah i still have problems with planet shadowing,i know they dont have enough shadow...

Its got nothing to do with the shadowing, just general blending in. The lighting (but not the actual shadowing) for instance - on this id expect the planet to have a blue tint to it, with another blue tint on the atmosphere, maybe being a bit less powerful as it gets firther from the nebulae
