Description
I know it isn't right to ask for it, but PLEASE, if you use this tutorial:Thanks! ^^
---
Well, some people have asked me how I make my plushes, so I've tried to make some sort of a tutorial, taking photos of the whole process to try to help.
1. This is some kind of a pattern, although it varies depending on the plush [link]
2.This is how I make the faces: I draw them on Photoshop and print them in that paper for shirts. Then I cut each part separately and iron them to the felt
PLUSH EYE TUTORIAL: [link]
3.To make the head, I'm sure anyone can say a thousand better ways, but this is how I make them: I cut a strip of felt as long as the head and sew it around the face, leaving a hole for the cotton
PLUSH HEAD TUTORIAL : [link]
4-5.I sew both body parts, leaving spaces to put wires and cotton inside. Wires aren't necessary, but the plush comes out more resistant and its pose can be changed
6.I sew the head to the plush. This is the common point for all plushes. There's only making the clothes and details left depending on the plush
7. Making the feet (I don't make them to almost any plush)
I haven't taken photos of how to make the clothes because I totally improvise as I go
I suppose the trick to make plushes is using the parts that won't be seen to put seams and ugly stuff. For instance, I used the parts under the clothings to make knots or whatever I need. You can calso see the undershirt isn't complete, as the other one is sewn on top. If something isn't going to be visible, I don't make it. I didn't take photos of the hair making process, but if you want, I can make another turorial for that with the next plush.
I hope this has helped and please, if you use it to make a plush, send me a link with the photo, I'd love to see how it comes out

This tutorial helped me a lot! I think I might make one too (since I've been looking everywhere to make an Envy plush). What kind of material do you use for the body? I think the only hard part would be the eyes. Could you......possibly email the eyes for me? If you can, thanks!

I use felt for the body and my own old t-tshirts for the clothes.

Your welcome. Do you use Photoshop to do the eyes on? If you do, then I don't have Photoshop for my computer.

ooooo...i tend to keep my plushies with chibi proportions because i failed at doing a more proportionate body, but this makes so much sense. i don't know why i spaced out before.
plus, i really like how basic yet very effective this is compared to those super intense plushies with so many parts and joints and shit.
also, i'm impressed with how you make hair on your plushies. it's very dimensional and just fantastic. :]

But see how you did it i'll really have to give it another try
If you don't mind me asking tho what kind of fabric do you use?
I'm totally not a sewer and have no idea whats right to use (whatever it was i used on my first attempt felt as if the threat would tear through it D: )
