Description
So, i'm making eyes, but don't accept international commissions. I got many requests to do this tutorial.ΒSince i haven't seen any doll eye making tutorials all around the internet i find out the making process by byself and refine it again and again.Β
I think the technique is perfect now and ready to present in a bigger tutorial series.
I hope you will like it since i worked a lot on this XD

Great tutorial! I have a question, though. Would it work if instead of using the builder gel, I use transparent acrylic powder? I ask because is not easy for me buy an uv lamp.

Omg I was looking all around for an tutorial like this! Thank you so much! But I have an question, you see I want to make my ocs as doll and well, fews of them have the white of their eyes black or one have theirs eyes completly red. So I was wondering If you can color the acrylis while making the 'white' of the eyes

Should the UV lamp be a specialty lamp or do nail polish curing UV lamps work as well?

Hi there, I have a bit of a question~
First of all, thanks so much for this amazing tutorial. I am also trying out out for myself!
After the uv dome is all said and done and after I sand the dome to be level, I can never buff it to be clear again. D: Buffing the lens always makes it cloudy for me and makes it look frosted instead of nice and clear.
I use a 4-way nail buffer for sanding and on the polish side, the most i can get is a dull frosty sheen. :<
what am I doing wrong? Will it clear up when I use the UV topcoat final layer?

would the builder gel work on it's own to create a clear eye? i have an eye mould for teeny tiny eyes but i prefer working with clear domes and painting the backs, do you think my results would be decent or would it not harden enough in the silicone to remove? D:
