Description
So, i'm making eyes, but don't accept international commissions. I got many requests to do this tutorial.ΒSince i haven't seen any doll eye making tutorials all around the internet i find out the making process by byself and refine it again and again.Β
I think the technique is perfect now and ready to present in a bigger tutorial series.
I hope you will like it since i worked a lot on this XD

WoW! What amazing work! I am saving this to try it some time... but will probably have to improvise some things, since I don't have that UV lamp thing and it looks like an expensive thing to buy just because of that...? But the results looks amazing!

Hmm i don't know how much is this stuff abroad, but maybe a used one would also be god if you find one on the second hand market .__.
Mine is also a very old and secondhand bought lamp ^^

How good is the UV resin your using at staying clear and non-yellowing?
Does it yellow over time?

Yes it's clear and non yellowing :3 However, Crystal Nails's clear uv gel yellowed a lot! So there are clear gels what is yellowing But Moyra's clear uv gel is nice. It's still glass likely clear and not yellowed at all ^^

I don't use it anymore. I use Moyra's stuffs instead

This is amazing. I'll keep track on the first part.Β
But in the middle of it I was wondering "what are you doing?" but then the lens came on and it ended up looking very good.
I decided to look into this since I've some plans to eventually buy a small ball jointed doll and has the same problem as you, that no eye looks the way I want it to.

Yeah searching for eyes is a pain if someone likes the realistic looking style :/ i only found some urethane eyes what was my taste, but they were very expensieve with long process time.
Since i have a lot of dolls and i'm terribly picky this is the best way for getting their eyes
