Description
So, i'm making eyes, but don't accept international commissions. I got many requests to do this tutorial.Since i haven't seen any doll eye making tutorials all around the internet i find out the making process by byself and refine it again and again.
I think the technique is perfect now and ready to present in a bigger tutorial series.
I hope you will like it since i worked a lot on this XD

Thank you so much for sharing!! I followed some steps and was able to make some eyes for my stop motion puppet.
I used white polymer clay for the white part of the eye, purple for the iris and a little ball of black clay for the pupil.
I also used a bit of pink nail polish for the iris.
And finally clear gelish.

Is it absolutely necessary to cast these, or could one just make 2 clay ones and use those?

Hmmmmmm Yes that's possible, but if you want to make more pair not only one it's easier and the quality is more equable with this casting process.
and i have no idea how the UV gel would react to the different material. I made the base from urethane resin, it wasn't THAT bad but i had to be careful because the clear peel off from the resin easily.
