Name: Kestrelkit | Kestrelpaw | KestrelflightGender: She-cat
Age: 1 moon

Appearance: Thick/soft ginger and grey fur with black stripes and markings. Creamish markings as well. Amber eyes. Smaller than the average she-kit due to her premature birth, but larger than Mosskit.
Personality: She is polite and down-to-earth. She is a little more outgoing than her sister Mosskit, and acts as the protector. She is friendly and enjoys a good conversation with the other kits and warriors. She loves the taste of mouse.
History: Born on October 16th, 2013 with her Twin sister Mosskit and her [deceased] brother Harekit.

Patchstar - I've heard good things about her, but I've never met her.

Breezemoon - He was there when we were born! He's a good medicine cat. He comes to check up on us often, and I like him.
Barleyleap - She's my mama! I love her!
Mosskit - My dearest twin sister. I'd do anything for her.
Timidpaw - She's mama's apprentice, but I think of her just like a sister. She was there when we were born, you know! She sleeps with us in the Nursery and I love her just like a sister.
Sorrelfox - Mama says he was there when we were born, too. I don't really remember him. Sometimes he comes to babysit us when Timidpaw goes out. He is very fluffy and warm.
My papa! - Mama says that I'm not really allowed to say anything about him because "it's complicated." ...I wonder what 'complicated'
means.
Creamkit - She's really cool, and I like to talk to her a lot!
Frogkit - She is really cool. I idolize her a lot.
Bristlekit - Um........he's.............cold.

-Kestrelkit is my character to replace Fawnspots. I talked to Breezey and thought it'd be cute if she and Mosskit were twins :'D it was a perfect excuse to bring in a new character
-She's my third ginger character
-She's my first character in this TWG that has amber eyes!
-She's going to have the best eyesight of all my characters.
-Brownie points if you guess who her and Mosskit's Father is!

"Yeah! I'm so impatient. I wish I could see them now." she lifted her hind leg and scratched at her ear. "When I am an apprentice, I'll bring you some flowers from the forest so you can see them, too."

"I'd like that" Birchkit smiled.
If all the stories were true, then it was only common sense to assume that the flowers that grew in camp would be different to the ones outside, at least in a couple of ways.
He still remembered when Coyotekit had suggested making flower crowns, perhaps he and Kestrelkit could make some of those if they collected enough flowers.

"Do you want any special color?" Kestrelkit blinked, smiling. "I will search the whole forest for the best one!"

Birchkit opened his mouth to say he didn't mind, then he remembered the warm green glow in Timidbreeze's eyes and felt his cheeks warm a little, "um... green would be great if you could find any" he requested in a quiet voice, "but it's okay if you can't, you know, I'm sure lots of colours all together would look really pretty."

"Green flowers, got it!" Kestrelkit noted, making sure to look every chance she got once she was an apprentice.

"Thanks" Birchkit nodded, "and when I'm an Apprentice we can collect them together" he suggested, he knew that by this point, Kestrelkit would already have been an Apprentice for some time and may not want to do such a kittish this anymore, but it was a nice thought to help him look forward to his own Apprenticeship ceremony.

Kestrelkit smiled, nodding enthusiastically. "That sounds fun!" she purred, excited for any time she could spend with her friend.

He had to admit that now he had become better friends with Kestrelkit he was a little worried about what might happen in those moons between their Apprenticeship ceremonies.
It wasn't uncommon for friends in the Nursery with a few moons difference to separate when one became an Apprentice, after all, he'd heard stories of how Marigoldpaw, Ivypaw and Fuzzypaw had all been friends once while in the Nursery, and he never saw any of them together.

Kestrelkit rolled over, then stopped herself as she remembered not to get her pelt dirty. "Timidbreeze told me not to get dirty before my ceremony," she explained, even though her ceremony was a little ways away, the she-cat heeded her caretaker's words.

"Timidbreeze gives good advise" Birchkit nodded, "besides, with all the clan watching you, I'm sure you'll want to look your best," he flicked his tail thoughtfully, tilting his head to one side and examining her, her fur seemed to be standing up somewhat, but nothing terrible.
"I think I'm actually quite jealous that you get to become a Warrior first" he sighed, knowing that now the idea had caught him he'd be just as wrapped up in it as his siblings were.

The brown she-cat purred. "I wish I could look my best and still play," she lifted her hind leg and scratched at her ear. "Maybe, if you work hard, you'll be able to become a warrior at the same time as me!" Kestrelkit put her leg back down. Fallenstar had become a warrior at a young age, so she knew it wasn't impossible.

"Maybe" Birchkit laughed, he doubted it, but he certainly would work hard while training, it would be nice to be able to receive his Warrior name at the same time as his friend.
Timidbreeze would probably be impressed if he did. At the moment the Nursery helper seemed worried about something, he had no idea what it was of course, but he was hoping to find someway of making her feel better, perhaps she'd appreciate a flower crown if he and Kestrelkit got a chance to make some.

Kestrelkit puffed, "Maybe I'll stay an apprentice forever," she joked, batting lazily at a dead leaf. "Timidbreeze waited for when Fallenstar was made a warrior, after all..." unknowingly, the she-cat shared her friend's thought...her caretaker had been rather upset over something lately. Kestrelkit wondered if it was because of everyone's harsh reactions towards Fallenstar as leader. She looked up at Birchkit for a second, wondering if the brown tom was a supporter of the new leader or not.

Glancing and catching her looking at him, Birchkit studied her gaze, trying to work out what she was thinking, she was obviously worried about Timidbreeze too, Birchkit knew that Timidbreeze spent a lot of time with Barleyleap's kits, the last time he'd spoken to her, Kestrelkit and her siblings had been dozing somewhere nearby.
He took a moment to take advantage of the reflectful silence, as he searched his own thoughts for why Timidbreeze might be upset. He hadn't seen her with Fallenstar as much recently, maybe they'd had a fight or something, or perhaps he was just too busy to see her - this thought made him puff his chest out a little, surely it was impossible that Fallenstar as her mate wouldn't want to spend time with such a beautiful and amazing she-cat.

"A-anyway," Kestrelkit mewed, noticing the silence was dragging. "Even if I do become a warrior first, that won't matter--we'll still be friends, after all." She smiled, hoping that her friend would understand. The thought of growing distant with such a close friend was more painful than anything, and Kestrelkit would do everything in her power to avoid that.

Realising he hadn't spoken for a while, Birchkit blinked back into their conversation, catching the last part, but managing to piece together what it was that she'd said.
"Of course" he promised, catching her amber gaze, lighter than his own, "I make it a policy of mine to keep my friends," he wasn't quite sure how he meant to phrase this, whether it was humorously or dead seriously, but whichever one it was, he meant it, particularly with Kestrelpaw.
He had other friends of course, but something with Kestrelpaw clicked so easily, they were very different true, but not so different that they couldn't find that connection somewhere.

Kestrelkit grinned, happy to see that the brown tom shared her feelings about keeping friends around. Out of all the cats in camp, besides Mosskit, she was definitely closest to Birchkit. The thought that he wouldn't be her friend anymore was unbearable. "I'm glad," she purred in response.

Birchkit found himself purring back, it was a nice feeling, sharing a moment like that with somebody, "Well, I expect you're looking forward to starting your training then?" He asked, knowing that he probably would be when the time came. Of course walking round the whole territory sounded absolutely exhausting, but there must also be a lot to see.

Kestrelkit nodded. "I don't care too much about fighting, but...I really want to learn how to hunt," her whiskers quivered in excitement at the thrill of the catch.

"Sounds like you'll need a lot of energy" Birchkit nodded, although he had no doubt that Kestrelpaw was full to the brim with endless bouts of energy, he'd never once seen the she-cat get tired. He supposed personally he was looking forward to the responsibility of being an Apprentice, but didn't really have too much of an opinion on the tasks themselves, training to fight would certainly be useful, but it also sounded like a lot of work.

Kestrelkit purred, "I always do! Mosskit has to tell me to calm down sometimes. So I think I'll be fine!" she hoped she hadn't jinxed herself by saying that.

Birchpaw purred as he lightly flicked his tail across her nose, "I have a feeling your poor future mentor, is going to have more trouble getting you to stay still than anything else."

Two kits padded up to the she-cat. One was a calico/tabby she-kit with marking that will BURN YOUR EYES, the other is a Abyssinian ginger tom with pale green eyes, similar to the bright cat next to him

Kestrelkit perked her ears as she lifted her head to look at the two new kits that were walking towards her.

"Hi!~" the she-kit bounced over with a smile, while the tom raised his chin and walked his way to the other cat

"Hi," Kestrelkit matched her tone, her amber eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Who are you?"

"I'm Pecankit! And this is Grumpykit." she shoved her brother's shoulder, "I'm Bristlekit." Bristlekit rolled his eyes and shoved the tabby back

"Grumpy...Bristlekit. Pecankit. Nice to meet you," Kestrelkit smiled, moving her tail to the other side of her body. She let out a mrrow of amusement at the two littermates.

The easily distracted sister bounced away in pursuit of a falling leaf, leaving the two kits. Bristlekit wasn't fond of talking one-to-one, ears twisting out of awkwardness

"So um...Bristlekit, right?" Kestrelkit smiled, trying to make conversation. "Um...I'm Kestrelkit. Barleyleap is my mother. Who is your mother?"

"Tallflower's my mother," the said she-cat was at the entrance of the nursery, chatting with other queens. "Uhh.." Bristlekit looked around to find something to talk about

"Tallflower...um...." Kestrelkit looked over at where the queen was standing. "Oh, yeah!" she mewed. "Cool. So um......" she mewed awkwardly.

"I suppose so...it's pretty cold," Kestrelkit mewed.

"Cold..?" The kit couldn't feel the nip in the air. His bristly, thick coat kept him warm, though it was nowhere near as long as Fuzzypaw's

Kestrelkit flattened her ears. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, "I'm afraid I'm not very good at small talk."

Creamkit sneaked up on the younger kit, finally she wasn't the youngest kit anymore! She was almost about to pounce when she remembered that Patchstar probably wouldn't approve of her pouncing on a newborn kit. She had promised to be nice, for mommy, after all. So she just raced around to face the she-kit, "Hey there newbie. You must be Kestrelkit, right?" Her green eyes shone with excitement and mischief, maybe this kit would be different than the others, who were either too weird to talk to, like Fallenkit and Wishkit, or too loud and ambitious to listen to what she wanted to say. Her curly tail floofed out against the Leaf-Fall breeze, "I'm Creamkit, Patchstar's daughter."
