Closer to the end of the year, ATC dropped the "antenna-on-black" and adopted its first animated ident. The formup was simple, with the "wings", as they would come to be known, emerged from the logo and separated from each other to create this high-brow result. This base design would ultimately endure on this channel for the next 18 years, until the ATC's split.
