Description
Glass vials and life debris.i did this a while ago, but i just put it up again. i carried one vial a day for 102 days of my life and put some of the debris i encounterd in it, and cataloged it. if anybody is interested (but why would you be), i can list what is in each day's vial.
seems kinda oc, but that's under control now....kinda.
update!!
i found the list. i noticed that some of the vials are out of sequence in the photo (thanks to a couple idiot friends of my wife who thought it would be funny to rearrange some...i didn't have the list then to correct it). i altered the list to fit the photo. when i have the piece up again, i will put them in the proper order.

Oh my gosh, that's such a neat idea.
I used to always pick up leaves and things I found on walks, and I love having little things to remember times by. That must've been a fun project. And oh wait, how big are the bottles? Judging by the pencil, it looks pretty small.
Where do you find cool bottles like that? Haha. For some reason I love bottles and such, which is why I have a perfume bottle collection.

That is such an amazing idea! I'm surprised the vials are that small...heh, I don't know why, just am. Good luck on finding the list. I know I'll still be interested in hearing what's in them no matter when you get it

thanks. i could have gone with larger ones, but this size made it more interesting to find stuff that would fit. i'm still looking, but it's looking less promising.

This is such an awesome idea - it makes me want to do the same thing, I would just be worried that I wouldn't find something new everyday, with my life being so routine. If you find that list, do post it, I'd love to see!

you should do it. it's actually fun to find something new each day. it's strange, it becomes routine to look for new things. it gives you a chance to be creative every day. try it.
and i'm still looking.

what a beautiful concept.
that's something i wish i'dthought of doing. sometimes the little things we find laying around can say a lot more about us. i'd be interested as to what is in each vial... and why you noticed those things...

thank you.
the list of what each day contains is still missing (though i can tell what is in most), but as to why...it ranges from random to relevant.

The buisness is coming along pretty good, it just takes time now in the beginning. Loads of paperwork and stuff like that. I haven't sold anything yet, but people seems to like it. I hope they wanna pay for it too

wow! you are very mult-talented, multi-faceted, interesting individual. I would be very interested in this list.......were you looking for anything in particular to put in those jars..or did you just happen upon things?
Also, if you can answer this, in general around how much money does your jewlery...specifically rings...go for?
thanks!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
noformdesign In reply to hecateinblack [2005-09-08 14:59:48 +0000 UTC]
thank you very much, that's kind of you. my objective was to fill the one vial that i carried each day with anything that i came in contact with. nothing in particular, and nothing repeated.
my rings can be $30 to $$$. it all depends on the design, materials, and if it's a one of a kind piece.
got something in mind?
