Yep, done at last. Timon and four of the five sketches I lost to a restarting laptop this morning. I didn't bother redoing the fifth because it wasn't amazing in the first place.Anyway, this was all just more Timon practise - different poses and another go at colouring/shading/lining him. I have to say, I ADORE the lining of his lighter fur along his chest and belly - the little fluffy bits? I really like how they turned out.

Thank you! Yeah everybody says that they find him difficult to draw - I found a couple of the poses difficult, but in general I found him very easy to draw

your welcome!I think I find him difficult to draw because he stands on two legs :/ I find it easier to draw lions. I need help on thinking of tlk scenes to draw. how do you get your ideas if you dont mind me asking :3

Well I haven't drawn any scenes in ages, but usually when I do, they're for my lion king 100 themes challenge - which is a list of 100 themes (like stars, teamwork, innocence, things like that) and I think about which characters I associate those things with and how I might portray the concept. For example, for stars, I thought of Mufasa telling Simba about the great kings of the past, and then I thought, who told Mufasa? And I came up with the scene of Ahadi telling Scar and Mufasa that story and came up with this: [link]
So I guess the short answer is I think about a concept - someone being lonely, something dangerous, something sad, something happy - I think about who might be feeling those things and why, and then draw.
