Nice design, as well!

Are you saying that this is a Sketchup model?  What did you use to render the image?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NOMANSNODEAD In reply to iconkid [2017-08-21 13:13:10 +0000 UTC]

I guess so. Basic SketchUp is all you need (without plugins and whatnot). For the rendering purpose KeyShot doing its job pretty well.

Actually I would say its based on the Cadillac Gauge Commando Scout private venture - no?  9mins in www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4j5Kh…      img.photobucket.com/albums/v21…

We shall call it convergent thinking then as your shape and layout is very much a Commando  its very nicely done anyway.

Non-Pneumatic tires?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NOMANSNODEAD In reply to DocWolph [2016-03-14 07:45:45 +0000 UTC]

It's pretty cool but airless tire aren't great for absorbing vibration (last I read), although it won't ever flat. Besides I like big fat wheels, so yeah...

DocWolph In reply to NOMANSNODEAD [2016-03-15 05:01:09 +0000 UTC]

High Frequency suspension, one that absorbs vibration from small highly frequent oscillations, would be fine.

Most modern military vehicles, not just American, has such to improve their run and gun ability so using non-pneumatic tires would be fine.

Well, I try to make it as minimum poly as possible because my laptop becoming laggy sometimes, eventhough SketchUp is a pretty lightweight program.

NOMANSNODEAD In reply to Colonel-Eviscerator [2016-03-13 11:30:03 +0000 UTC]

I don't think so. It's almost like selling bazooka to the civilian. Maybe private military only.

What type of fuel it uses, and how many miles per gallon it uses up?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NOMANSNODEAD In reply to Dr-XIII [2016-03-13 11:26:18 +0000 UTC]

It's top secret.

The engine and transmission is designed to maintain fuel efficiency in every situation, mostly when the vehicle is on stand by mode during the scouting mission.
