Gloriously good.

I agree with you about tempering the roots from the preliminary effort.  It's a lovely piece.  The lighting is wonderful.

I'd like to think that this piece is a summary of an artist's very being. The white background solidifies the primordiality of the subject being depicted. Also love the flowers reflected in the hair. Perfect choice for your avatar.
