I think ruby fits as the person who can smile amidst sadness.
Monty inspired me a lot, but so did RWBY.
Inspiration is fuel. If you only have fuel you can't drive a car. And if you have a car and no fuel you can't drive it too.
The car would be you drive and motivation to create.

Im actually getting prepared a collab video tribute dedicated to Monty. It is a video where fans can get involved and give their regards and respect to him. I think this be a good background photo for the background song Wings.
