And now for something completely different.Fanart for the flashback in The Search for Snout from the Rod Allbright books by Bruce Coville. If you read them, it was probably in about... third grade.
One future captain, one telepath, and one burgeoning supervillain--although not in that order. Friendships broken, better ones forged. Technically a spoiler, but let's not kid ourselves here. This series is what, fifteen years old?

I read them in 6th grade...and 7th grade...all pretty much once a year until I graduated. I don't know why I loved them so much, even though I was 'too old' for them, I always found that series just incredible and exciting. Coville's imagination inspired me alot in my early teens..

Ah, I'm always so happy when I find fanart of the books I loved most as a kid! Bruce Coville, Linda Bailey and Gordon Korman were the literary "Big Three" of my formative years.
Man, I loved these books. Loved his other alien books too, but while I've done fanart of Broxholm and Blork, I don't think I've every really done anything for this series!
