OH NO!!!! My arm was just hacked off!!!! How can I ever cut bread with just one good arm?!?! Recondite, help me!!!Let me first ask, do you still have the arm, or have you been missing your arm for a long time? Now after answering this question, you can lay down in this giant array. Your bloody stump where the appendage once was attached needs to be in somewhere in the center.
Now if you have your arm or leg or whatever, place it in the outer ring. If you dont have the appendage, I suggest placing either pig meat or charcoal in its place. Now get an alchemist such as myself to power the array.
After a little time, your missing appendage will be re-attached or rebuilt. This will have no ill effects on the alchemist or the subject. Thats all FMA alchemy crap.
This array is actually quite old. I did this one a long time ago, but it would still work. Now I had it redone in serif, but other than that, nothing has changed.

But isn't that human transmutation though? Creating a new piece of the human body. And this is a transmutation circle, not an array.

I just created an account, and I am hoping that someone can help me. I want to come up with an array or circle that would destroy negative energy and transmute it into positive energy. By negative energy I'm referring to things like stress, illness, bad luck, etc and transform it into strength, vitality, and willpower. I would love to figure out where to even start.

Quick question, what language is used for the instructions (Words inside the circle?) . It looks Greek, but I am not sure.

It's the greek text because I'm a cheap and lazy asshole and never got a more fitting text to encode my instructions.

It looks cool, but I don't remember approving my design to be used for this. I would appreciate being alerted in the future of my art being used and a link to the original array be placed somewhere so it doesn't come across as stolen.

Sorry for that, I took a picture from google search, and then found it on devianart.
You know, as a compensation, choose any of your alchemical circle, and I will do it in the metal, then send it to you.

I will gladly take you up on your offer. I'll also extend to you the rights to continue using my arrays if you so desire. I will also do what I can to promote your work because it is amazing and I'm betting others would pay to have their arrays in metal.

Technically there wouldn't be any ill effects even in FMA because this only creates a limb, not a whole body and soul like they did with human transmutation in the show. Creating a limb and attaching it is like using rubble to repair a building. Trying to create an entire body and soul though wold entail human transmutation and thus opening the gate to the other side.

Not quite. If building an array would have been this easy in FMA, than Ed could have just built himself a new arm and leg. The reason he didn't is because of two reason: Complexity of the task, and that it's a human transmutation. While he isn't creating a human, he would have to, in theory, also bind his soul to the new appendages, which would have a cost all to itself. Perhaps another limb?

I disagree. I firmly believe this wouldn't count as human transmutation as that either entails creating a human body from scratch or attempting to bring a dead body back and reviving its soul. We've seen people be healed through alchemy, or alkehestry to be exact. And Scar's arm was once his brother's and his brother didnt perform human transmutation to attach it to him. I imagine creating a limb and attaching it to the stump is more of a transplant and thus isnt human transmutation, but i do agree that the amount of skill and power needed to do such a thing wold be astronomical. He doesn't have to bind his soul to the parts as his soul is already bound to his body and he's just adding to his body, like plugging a robot arm into your computer.

I don't believe there would be a ill effect in FMA. As far as I can tell, this is bio-alchemy, and is just healing. Pretty sure you can heal most wounds, but they never talked about re-attaching appendages. As long as human transmutation doesn't involve bringing someone back, or other things to do with human souls, you're safe.

Because I don't have a good enough text format yet. I am trying to get a good font that looks good in the arrays, but I can't find a good free one. But I will probably just end up buying one at some point.

I've often wondered...why charcoal? I can understand pig meat, cuz pigs body tissue is similar to humans, but charcoal?
π: 0 β©: 1
Notshurly In reply to Azerik92 [2010-10-06 21:58:13 +0000 UTC]
Carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and other various compounds commonly found in the human body. Thus, its much better for replacing the appendage.
There is also a philosophical belief that charcoal was magic, of a sort, because wood had the all powerful relation to the four elements, thus, it would be the best thing to replace a something from a human's body.

Does this simply repair limbs, or can it also reattatch and/or replace limbs?
π: 0 β©: 1
Notshurly In reply to CyberWarrior97 [2010-05-25 00:40:34 +0000 UTC]
It can completely replace a lost limb. You can reattach the limb, or use other matter to repair it. I would suggest charcoal if you dont have the limb. And you probably wont be used to your arm for a little while, but after a month or so, everything should be back to normal
