Description
While the first bread maker was nice for the kitchen, I had to expand my horizon. So imagine you are lost in the woods. There is nothing to eat and you are hungry! All you have around you is grass, leaves, weeds, wood, and trees. You can also use alchemy. So what are you going to eat? BREAD!!! How are you going to make it? NOTSHURLY'S AMAZING PLANT TO BREAD TRANSMUTATION CIRCLE!!! (or plant to bread array because I cant have a title that long)Notshurly's amazing plant to bread transmutation circle will take plants, break them down into basic elements (just carbon, nitrogen, and water. Thatβs all we need) and compose them into bread. How is it that Notshurlyβs amazing plant to bread transmutation circle can do this? Well we start with the circle at the top. It breaks down the plant. Then we go to the circles to the left. The top circle fuses water with hydrogen to create sodium. The bottom circle fuses two waters to form chlorine. This makes table salt! (all the extra stuff is shot out the disposal nodes (that's what all the nodes are for; disposal)) The circle at the bottom of the array is used to bond nitrogen and carbon into a fiber (C2N4). The circle to the right is used to make a starch like the one in plants (C6H12O6).
All these elements are mixed with water to form the breads dough. This is then baked with a constant flow of air so the bread is "risen" (yeast is next to impossible in this transmutation circle). After the bread is done, you can enjoy the warm, steamy goodness that is bread.
Now this bread wouldn't be the best stuff you ever tasted, but it does supply you with a full stomach and plenty of energy (both short and long term) so you can survive whatever it is that has put you in mortal danger and starvation.
This was yet another transmutation circle that I drew in science. I was asked if I could draw another circle. One that makes food. Well over the duration of about four minutes, I was able to create this. Now I did need to make some minor edits, but on the bright side I was able to invent nuclear science in alchemy (which I will soon be uploading both instructions on how to draw some of these new arrays and instructions on shaunan jutsu so you to can draw alchemy in ways you never thought before).

maybe a bit of a dumb question, but wouldn't fusing two waters make calcium ((1+1+8)+(1+1+8)=20)? or are you discarding some atoms?

Discarding. It's sent away using those nodes.

actually, can atoms be discarded as wholes when coming from nuclear fusion, or only in the form of particles?

Atoms can be discarded. It's actually safe to discard atoms. Again, I've got a lot more nuclear experience that will be discussed in the book. Particles can be so tricky and dirty and radioactive.

I love you... okay no homo, but that's epic.
you're actually explaining the decomposition and re composition of materials, along with the combination of elements into different compounds and molecular structures, on a fictional reference... but this fictional reference does have some serious thought behind it, as it explains the full process of turning something into another... You just gave me an idea for science class, creative as hell~!

If we want alchemy when it comes the time for one of us to die we ask god to make it real ; and doesn't the basic alchemy circle allow for every element to be used at all times to create almost anything

More or less, yes. It's just how you assemble the shapes.

sadly no, however trial and error, with the scientific method has transformed the not well understood alchemy into the very well understood Modern Chemistry!
Just add water and BAKE!

If you take a pencil (with contains carbon C in form of graphit) and a bucket of water (H2O) and you transmute this in the right mass, you can create ethanol (C5H2OH), right?

Its got some air blowing into it, so you would still get that little bit of airiness.

Well no matter what, if I were in a tight stop and I could use alchemy, hey! Food! Though I doubt I would ever be in a tight spot, being able to make gold like *that* and keeping it a big secret so I was the only one...

Karasunokazu In reply to Notshurly [2011-07-27 07:01:07 +0000 UTC]
Personally I'd just make silver, platinum and/or gemstones and then sell them. Hey presto, gold without using alchemy! Yay, subversion!
But if I was alone in a forest late at night in the middle of nowhere, that plant to bread array would be looking mighty tasty.

Then again, you also have to wonder if they even knew what they were doing. Its one thing to apply yourself in creating the arrays, but I know some people who just make arrays that look "Cool" and then bs an effect it has :.
Its just one of those little things...
