Description
A request for NamelessNuthyng , otherwise known as Chaotic Dreams on FIMfiction, for his Fallout Equestria spinoff, FO:E StormChasers. When an aerial anomaly is detected moving towards the airspace of the Grand Pegasus Enclave, among those sent to investigate are Suprise and Firefly, best friends and members of the GEP. They discover an empty, untouched relic of the pre-war era, missed by the bombs and hidden high above the wasteland. Functioning on autorepair after two centuries of solitude, Hurricane is a deserted floating metropolis, and a vault containing the best and worst of Equestria's golden age of technology. Control of it could mean domination of the skies, and Suprise will soon learn that the Enclave are not the only ones with plans for its future...As much as I hate to say this, every part of this was a pain in the ass, for reasons that were entirely my own fault. What should have taken about four or five weeks at the most turned into an ordeal spanning the entire summer and beyond, with numerous mistakes, redraws, and second guessing. Believe it or not, this was, originally, first piece of digital art I'd ever done entirely with my tablet. When I started it I had an excellent concept of how I wanted it to turn out. Then, my family moved halfway around the world, which tends to hold things up a bit (I still live here in the States). When I got back to it, my inspiration was gone, and I resorted to chipping away at it in tiny pieces, while completing several other pieces of art. My apologies to namelessnuthyng for taking such an absurdly long time for this.
So yeah, not the most painless experience with drawing. But I learned a valuable lesson: when you're inspired, go after it quickly, and get 'er done. As always, constructive criticism is welcomed and encouraged.

Well, it is inside of a hurricane, thousands of feet above the wasteland. I would imagine that provides some rudimentary concealment. But NamelessNuthyng could probably answer that question better than myself.

Such concentrated levels of awesomeness are incredibly dangerous, and it is for this reason that we are prepared to offer you the position of Supreme Lord General, Ruler of All the Enclave, in the hopes that you will not use your amazing powers of awesomeness to awesomely lay waste to our unworthy nation."

In all seriousness, Nukechaser24, this is absolutely beyond-words-amazing, though I will try. It captures the characters perfectly, the unease and weariness of Surprise and the over-eager intellectual curiosity of Firefly displayed in incredible vivacity. The atmosphere is dark without being bleak, sinister without losing any of the wonder of unexplored mystery. The city which you have expertly crafted in extremely stunning detail gives a sense of immense scope and magnitude, an overwhelming, monolithic force all its own. To put it simply, it's the sort of image that evokes the sense of a magnificent lucid dream.
I literally cannot thank you enough! As always, I wish you the best of luck with all your future artistic endeavors, though I highly doubt you'll need my well-wishing luck. With your skills, I see no roof to what you can achieve.

Oh my... this is some stunning visuals here! I especially like those hexagonal thingies on Surprise's suit (well both whole suits really, I'm a sucker for such suits and armour), and (for some reason) the doors to the left. Just really like the design on them. That said, the city above... I'm trying to think of a more original word than "awesome", but... yeah.
