This is my first visual style, Ported to windows 7.Please subscribe to my new youtube channel and help it grow!

NOTE : APPLY THE BASIC WINDOWS 7 THEME FIRST THEN THIS TO MAKE IT WORK SINCE SOME OF YOU GOT PROBLEMS WITH IT. Your computer will also run faster since its not using aero interfaces so don't forget to apply the normal windows 7 basic theme first.!

Plase the zune windows theme file and zune folder to c:/Windows/resources/themes
the explorer.exe to c:/windows ,rename the old explorer.exe to explorer_backup.exe open upp task manager ctr+alt+del . choose task manager.
go to processes find explorer.exe choose end process tree, Now dont freak out the taskbar will dissapear, go to file> new task run > type explorer.exe
and there you go.
-----------------------NOTE IF SOMETHING DID GO WRONG WITH THE EXPLORER DO THIS--------------------------------
if something did go wrong and the new explorer wont work, go to file > new task run > go to browse, c:/windows
find the new explorer.exe delete it , find the explorer_backup.exe and rename it to explorer.exe, run it. and there you go.

Well the reason is since it was done for a 32 bit system.
atm i'm back at 64 bit.
i'm not sure if i added a picture of the orb in the theme but if i did then it would be possible to replace the explorer.exe start button image by your own , tough i'm not sure if your familiar with that.
This theme is pritty "Buggy" i should probably change alot of things. like taskbar buttons , the start button etc make it possible to run it in normal window mode.

Aye, but it and the Poison make Windows 7 bearable for me. I don't know why but I can't stand Aero glass. It was the same with XP. I just didn't like using any of their themes for long periods of time. But the Zune theme they made allowed me to use XP without getting annoyed over time.

Very good port!
Bugs:
1. Start menu (right side) doesn't have hover-effects (and hover backgrounds) on the links (Documents, Downloads, Computer etc.)
2. Folderband have some artifacts from other version of Windows.

Thanks the problem is that its really hard to port themes still on windows style builder i hope they uppdate it so that its easier either it sometimes crashes or something else happens for me so i where lucky this time. i'd probably have to build it all upp on the aero theme if i want to fix it.

Nice, best port of an XP theme I've seen. The addition of a Start Orb is great (even if I did need to make my own x64 explorer). You should add something about what architecture of Windows it works with in the description.

Well, i applied the theme, and it looked good, but i hadn't replaced explorer.exe yet, and i shut my computer down, and now i can't log on to that account, it boots in safe mode fine, because it doesn't load the theme up. So i booted in safe mode and made a new user account :/ i deleted the theme booting in my ubuntu. But i can't use it now, any ideas how to fix it?

yeah i'll need to fix it it was done in windows style builder 1.4 when the bug still where there , but its fixed in 1.5 so i this should be fixed really soon. thanks for reminding me tough

Thanks man! And for everyone who can't log on, just log in in safe mode, and create another admin account, then find the theme folder and delete it, then log in on your normal account, or live boot ubuntu if you can

Doesn't work on my win7.
I have patched system and everything, but for me this theme doesn't seem to work properly.

Very nice and matching Zune attempt. Two things make me wonder here. First i donΒ΄t have Aero Peek thumbnails at the taskbar even if all other Aero features seem to work and after reboot i canΒ΄t log on until i delete the theme in safe-mode.
I tried several themes from here and all work ok so far. I only use the theme, not the Explorer.
Any ideas?

I use 7600 german but the shellstyle.dll is bit identical to the english version.
Like said i tried several others and they work. If i find out why it happens iΒ΄ll tell you.

yeah, i think so beacus i have not changed any of the windows 7 basic resources and i don't think that i will. so yeah, aero enabled and it should work.
