No, the title does not refer to Pokemon...I got this idea after the premier of Young Justice: Invasion. Obviously the team gained a lot more members in 5 years, and from what we gather, the team has (or had) at least 22 members... Bumblebee, Beastboy, Robin, and Blue Beetle all had their designated number announced in episode 1. After leaving some space for Batgirl, Wondergirl, Mal, and La'gann, there are 5 more slots open (I believe it's five). I read somewhere that Static joins or has already joined the team, so I took out one of the slots and gave it to him, so that left 4 more slots.
Now this is just my personal opinion on who was also on the team and why they may no longer be there. And I don't give them a specific number because I don't want to deal with that, but from left to right we have:
Bette Kane aka Flamebird: Membership currently inactive due to serious injury (don't ask me what kind). Currently going through physical therapy, but expresses a desire to come back when fully healed.
Jason Todd aka Robin II: Membership inactive due to death. Was killed by the Joker in an unofficial team mission.
Garth aka Tempest: Membership currently inactive due to personal reasons. He is currently MIA due to reasons below. (and yeah, I wanted to change his costume...pretty simple, but whatever...)
Tula aka Aquagirl: Membership inactive due to death. Was killed in the line of duty during a team mission.
Edit: Again, I had this idea before "Alienated" aired. So I guess I was right about Tula being Aquagirl and dying in a mission.
10/06/2012 - This was also done before "Satisfaction" so I guess we do have Jason as Robin as well. Also, Garth is confirmed in Young Justice Legacy as B10, so 3/4 isn't bad.

Um, I guess. But I did say this was a personal opinion on who I wanted in those four missing slots (I believe it was only four), otherwise I would've put a bunch more characters. And I wish Donna Troy was there, but it seems like Cassie was the first Wonder Girl so that's why I didn't include her.

Thanks! And yeah, I was super excited about that (except he is dead...noooo)! And Tula and Garth are canon too, so it's just Bette who probably is not/hasn't been Flamebird yet.

Who knows she might be Flame Bird secretly and we Don't know it yet. I'm hoping for a Red Hood Appearance sometime in the near future.

Ditto with the Jason info. Perhaps have Tim explain it to Bart and Beastboy or even have a bonding episode with Jamie.
I was thinking of having both Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch. Either combining to form one Firestorm (Pre-52) being or have two Firestorms and them combine to form Fury (Post-52. That's my own opinion on how the should handle it. Have Ronnie lean on his jock origins and give Jason a more science geek persona. Have them be at odds at times but joining together when it comes down to it, working together to help the team.

I like the Pre-52 where they did have to form to be one Firestorm (then again, I really didn't pay attention to the Post-52). It would be interesting to see a stereotypical jock and a stereotypical science geek have to settle their differences and learn to work together to help the team.

Yeah Have the team try to track one firestorm down and then confront them together with the professor explaining everything before they join the team

Tempest is at least in the upcoming game so he'll probably be shown in the series soon. Don't forget Wendy (Proxy) and Marvin, they could be heroes too. But yeah, I hope any/all of these guys show up during Invasion.

I saw Tempest as a playable character, so I'm super excited to see him in the series. I thought about those two, but I did only have 4 openings to work with so I had to pick and choose. I really do hope to see them... We may only see Tula in a flashback though since they already established that she's dead...
