Name: Gareth
Meaning: "Gentleness"
Gender: Stallion
Age: 14
Breed: Destrier
Height: 16.1hh
Colour: Blood bay, light dappling
Mane: Black, roached
Tail: Black, medium length and thinned, tied up in battle
Body type: While bulky and powerful, his musculature is understated, giving him a more rounded appearance. A thick neck, unrefined muzzle and prominent roman nose give him a rough cut appearance. His body hair is always well groomed and short, despite the season.
Temper: Age, experience and years of loving pampering have cooled the destrier's fiery temper. His youthful aggression that his breed was selected for only flares in battle. Difficult to faze, he'll often calmly meander around a chaotic and dangerous skirmish while waiting for his rider to finish her business.
Tack: Having retired from the battlefield, Gareth now only wears the barding of a light infantry horse with a small leather and brass breastplate and croup rig. He still wears the colours of Kaeden's family, but patches have been sewn in to cover the crests.
History: Kaeden's personal mount since she left her family estate ten years ago, having been stolen in the departure.
