Taking a break in my commission schedule to draw something pour moi. =3 This here's my new character, Xiฤn Xuรจ. Love him, or he'll eat your face! D< Actually, he's a real sweetheart. He's just kind of DID.And yes, he's a type of dog. Not a wolf, hyena, dhole, or vampiric demon monster. Well. Maybe part of the latter. BUT NOT COMPLETELY. D<

I'm pretty sure Bondage could kick Xian Xue's ass. My puppy's kind of a pansy, despite the set of chompers. XD It'd be pretty embarassing to watch, I bet.

Great job! It's always nice to see someone draw a realistic canine, and not something with wings, blue fur, and anatomy that makes you want to cry. Speaking of which, I like how you made him your own (short tail, small ears, large teeth, etc), but then explained how he's not your typical dog. So people can see that dogs shouldn't have ears that small, etc, just because yours does! ;3

Thanks for the comment; I appreciate it! XD I like my OC's to have more dashes of realism than surrealism, really, or else I just have trouble empathizing with them. It's hard for me to imagine flying blue wolves in any sort of realistic setting. I'm not that creative. X3 *shot*

Nor am I. I totally agree -- if you have such outlandishly impossible characters, they will never become more than a glorified cartoon character. But that wolf to the left, in my avatar? That's Autumn. I have no problems imagining her as a living, breathing being.

Well, I originally wanted an elkhound-esque character, but his proportions are really more Siberian husky like...if the husky got its legs squished, sort of, and took a few doses of steroids. And the colours are really more horse-ish, based loosely off of a primitive dun, with some bloodmark ticking tossed in for flavor. So, yeah, he's not completely made up, he's just a freakish mishmash of random critters. XD
