Okay, any else notice that white things are really hard to make pretty? Add some brown spots to that white, and it's just downright torture.So I'm making a new character for me to draw when I'm bored, other than my fursona. This will not be a new fursona! o__o You can't just replace a fursona, in my opinion. >>;; So this is Xian Xuรจ (Shee-an shay), a psychotic new puppy of mine. He'll have the colours of a primitive dun horse, only spiffified, probably, but I'm not sure yet. >.>
I'm super bored, so I'm uploading this. Maybe suggestions for colour?

Nice job! Love all the detail in his 'accessories'. Most people would have stopped at a collar. Some would have gone on to a lead. The brave would have also done the muzzle. But you went the entire nine yards, and give him bit and harness, and lead flapping in the wind! And a spiffy pose to boot.
Come to think of it, why does he have a bride on his head? You also referred to his coloring in technical horsey talk, which I just found amusing at first (given your obsession with horses) but then saw the bridle, and harness, and am thinking that maybe there's more to this than meets the eye.

Haha, thanks for the kind comment! *glomp* XD And yeah, he's definitely gonna be a weird one; I can never make my characters normal. >_>; He's kinda canine, with a dash of equine and psychosis thrown in. X3 I hope to make a detailed character sheet for him that might make some of his weird little quirks more understandable. But I don't really understand him myself yet. *cough*

Awesome job! I like how the muscles are flexing. Will look good when colored. It would be hard to deside of coloration. Maybe a tri colroed fur that gives him a "grizzly" furred look.
If he is a riding wolf, that harness around his shoulder would make perfect sense. Gripping the fur would not work well as a canine's hide is very loose. You'd hang on to the harness if needed and guide with the leash. Now the muzzle makes me think he is not going to be easy to tame or train. Hehe, a wild spirit!
