I thought I should make a tutorial, both for my own reference and for others, since I really enjoy doing special effects makeup without using expensive or special tools. This kinda stuff can probably be found in any girl's makeup drawer, and if this needs any clarification, feel free to ask.

I used to apply layers of dried Elmer's glue and red/purple markers to get this effect..looked pretty real.

Lol I do this stuff ALL THE TIME to myself, except I only use fake blood and face oil paints. XD One time I made a throat slash on someone for a movie we were shooting, and we were in a park, and the girl had to run around terribly bloody and stuff in front of all the small children

As for fake blood and stuff, I only have basic materials (poor music school kids ftw!) so I have to work with what I've got. It's so fun to experiment with bloody effects~ though rather sadistic. Coming from a masochist. Oohhh well xD

Oh, that day was too great. XD I loved that. And I scared my dad, too. I waved to him with my "injured" arm and he was like, "D: What happened!?" I have such a freaky sense of humor. >>

Oh, I really like the end result here! It does look pretty realistic...and you make it seem so easy to do!
I should probably try it sometime...even though I don't have ANY of this stuff with my makeup kit.
