As quoted, "Originally, Belle looked quizzically at her newly-handsome prince, squinted and wrinkled her nose and asked, 'Do you think you could grow a beard?'"

In this, he's older... some parts of his hair is a bit lighter and he has wrinkles around his eyes - smile lines as some say. I thought of making his beard longer, but that can wait until his hair is gray or something.
