I drew Snow White with The Shadow Man from the 1993 Filmation movie Happily Ever After. I saw the film like... four years ago when I was looking for a Snow White that could go with the Disney Snow White for a small series I did of Disney with non-Disney princess counterparts. She wound up here: [link]Well, for some reason I thought of drawing fan art for the movie again. I wanted to draw Snow White and The Shadow Man living happily ever after. Why? Because The Shadow Man beats The Prince any day. After all, Snow said she "cared for him as dearly as The Prince". I think she could have done well enough falling for The Shadow Man and ride off into the sunset with him!

Yeah, yeah... I know The Shadow Man and The Prince are one in the same person, but as The Shadow Man he is so much more adorable, likeable and pitiable. The scene where he sees his reflection in the water is win, damn it! So yeah... If I had my way, Snow never would have found her Prince and in the end fell in love with The Shadow Man. For an epilog, they get married and with true love's kiss The Prince can be cured then.

Anyway... I drew and colored The Shadow Man and Snow White. The Background meanwhile is a slightly edited screen capture from the movie.

I really liked this version. The dwarfelles were so adorable! And yes, I definitely preferred the Shadow Man to the prince.

Wow its been so long since I've seen this I'd almost forgotten about it. I actually liked this more than the original Snow White because the seven Dwarfelles were AWESOME!
