Description Time for some more KTS background races!

First up is the first of the three 'civilised races', i.e. the races that live within the borders of the Imperial Realm, because apparently the geographical location of your birth is what makes you civilised

Anyway here are the Imperial Humans, who make up the majority of the citizens of the Empire, the Elves might run everything, but they just can't match the numbers of the humans, who make up the vast majority of the army, the peasantry, and increasingly, the bureaucracy. This inequality is a source of more than a little tension between the two races, and whilst the vast majority of the Imperial Humans are loyal to the Emperor, some seek to increase their own standing in the Imperial Realm.

And chief among those is the nice woman pictured above as the racial example, she is Lady Yun, the only human leader of a noble clan in the Empire, and a source of much controversy. However despite that she is beloved by those she resides over, for putting Human concerns center place among the leadership of the empire.

Well hopefully in a fantasy setting they have magic to fix that... somehow

If one of the benefits of serving under elven rule is growing up to look like that, then sign me up!

She certainly is Princess Lucky.

Except she wasn't born a princess, but she does make her own luck

That probably would be a real benefit. After all the Imperial Realm is the most prosperous in the world, so it's citizens enjoy all kinds of benefits over those that live without the realm, one of those is greater nutrition, meaning they can grow up... well, big and strong

Plus, I imagine that elves are really into aesthetics, so they'll make sure their subordinate races are at least easy on the eyes.

Oh yes, something that Lady Yun (the woman above) is acutely aware of and uses to her advantage

Hehe, yup, that they are, and what a fun time she has with them.

In fact I'm starting to think I could make a Patreon sexy mini comic or two featuring her, I've got more than a few ideas

Yeh I've had a little time to think about it, and I've managed to sketch out a couple of plots for her, so yeh, this month's sexy Patreon mini comic will be about Lady Yun, I should have a promo up here in a few days

I look forward to see these oni that required two races to team up in order to expunge them

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Obhan In reply to TzaoTao [2017-06-24 11:29:58 +0000 UTC]

I think I've already drawn a pair of them last year... yup, here it is,Β KTS - Oni (Ogres)

Yeh these guys are not nice folks, their Oni, or Ogres in the west, and they basically lorded over everybody, and were complete dicks, to paraphrase thousands of years of oppression and savagery. Anyway in came the Imperial Elves, who teamed up with the humans above, and drove the Oni out. The Oni were bigger and more powerful, but the Elves had magic, and with the humans on their side, far greater numbers.

I'll likely get round to a new race card for the Oni too, they're going to be very important for the story of the comic

TzaoTao In reply to Obhan [2017-06-24 14:24:47 +0000 UTC]

first thing I thought when I saw that was: snu snu

but thank you for the explanation, but I'm slightly surprised to learn that they had such a huge part in the backstory of the comic,
because I can't recallΒ them being mentionedΒ a single time

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Obhan In reply to TzaoTao [2017-06-25 11:04:44 +0000 UTC]

Ahh they are one of the 'ancient' enemies, really only the Elves themselves are long lived enough to have remembered fighting them and their Empire, and we don't have any elves in the main cast.

The Mages are a more recent great enemy and we've seen the results of that war in the comic, albeit without it directly being mentioned, we see stuff like Magecraft being illegal or heavily regulated, mages and magic themselves being viewed with suspicion and mistrust, and obviously we've seen some of the creations of the mages, notably the Bakeneko (the little cat dudes) and the blanks (the men and women, though primarily women, with no pupils).
