Description
Next up is the second of the so called 'civilised' human races, the Lushani Humans. The Lushani region is to the southeast of the Imperial Realm, what the Imperials call the Laosang Province. It's mostly made up of jungles and coastline, with a number of large trading cities situated at the mouths of major rivers, the biggest of which is the regions capital, Tal'Lushan. The Lushani used to be protected from the encroachment of the Imperials by the Barrier Mountains, but over a hundred years ago the Elves used their magic to blast a path through the mountains, and invaded the region.
Right now the Lushani people are very conflicted, many still despise their Imperial Overlords for invading and taking away their sovereignty, however many others rejoice as their region has become much more prosperous in the intervening time. Tal'Lushan, was just a minor city state until the Imperials came, and now it's one of the biggest and richest trading ports in the world.
A keen example of this conflicted people is Jun, who we can see above, albeit a different Jun, one who was not orphaned at a very young age. This is what she would look like if she had never lost her parents in one of the failed uprisings, and instead grew up under their care. She seems a little happier, also better dressed, however at eighteen she is now sworn to marry a trading partner of her fathers, an elderly man nearly three times her age.
So yeh, not sure how our Jun would like that much

No I didn't, I don't think I'd heard of the place before you mentioned it.
The photos on Google look beautiful though

Right? Honestly the first place I ever even heard of it was "Saint Seiya", because apparently, the Dragon Cloth is at the foot of it.
