And here is the third and last of the so called, 'civilised' races, the Satori Humans.

These are the humans that live on the Eastern Islands with Kohta's people, the Satori Orcs. For a long time I was wondering if they'd have their own seperate title for their people, and they likely have several for the distinct ethnic groups, but as a people, like their Orc'ish neighbours, they likely define themselves by their faith. Whether Orc or Human they follow the teachings and wisdom of the ancient philosopher Sator. Though of course both likely claim that Sator was either a Human or an Orc depending on whose speaking at that moment.

The Satori Humans are much like their Orc'ish brothers, they live in clans led by a Daimyo, and all serve the emperor, who is served by a warrior class of nobles, the Samurai. Or rather they were until the Emperor was overthrown.

A good example of his people is Lord Kubo, who we can see above. He is one of the exiled Samurai from the Eastern Islands, but unlike Kohta and many of the other refugees, he managed to escape the fall of the Shan Dynasty with the majority of his clan intact, and founded a series of settlements on the mainland, where he has been gathering strength in an attempt to one day liberate his homeland from the new regime. Many refugees like Kohta, flock to his banner, so it might be that Kohta himself will meet Lord Kubo one day.
