I have been working on this the last three weeks or so, gradually picking away at it in between other projects. This is actually only about half of what I have been working on. Consider it the cliffhanger to the rest, there should be another strip like this coming up before the end of the month that will have her actually answering the questions from the judges.

In the July round of the IP-Pageant I was marked down significantly for 'effort'. I would be lying if I said I hadn't been a bit sour over this. After questioning a some of the staff, I kinda got a better understanding as to what they had marked me down for in actuality, and I guess, you could say rather than get in a huff like a kid that expects to be handed everything on a silver platter, I took it as a challenge.

So here we are! PART ONE.

In the majority of this strip you get to finally be introduced to one of the most consistent characters in Tikah's life, and one of the people she trusts the most. Her sister, adopted sister to be exact. The paler skinned Vi'hgtan (vortian) being Prytania, or PT for short. Without any female figure in Tikah's life to look up to or lean upon, PT kinda took over the mother role with her adoptive sibling. Leading to several squabbles between them when she pushes a bit too much. Especially when Tikah doesn't take the best care of herself.

A fact that I might not of introduced as well when it comes to Tikah, she isn't a very open person. Doesn't like sharing things about herself, doesn't know how. She gets defensive, and kinda snappy when pushed into an uncomfortable situation. Combine that with a massive amount of stage fright, and we might have a interesting interview to come!
