Here is a small reference I was making for myself in my last stream that I figured would be fun to post online for you all to see complete.
I have had this guys personality and concept in my head for months, and you will be seeing him pretty early on in the comic Alison-lynn and I are making. I decided now that I am coming down to drafting out the pages for the comic that it was a time to finalize his actual concept design. Might make a few more changes as time goes on, but for now this is his design.

Wellam is kinda the kid that got wrapped up into things that he hadn't ever been supposed to get into. Kinda in over his head really. He is in his early twenties and already waist deep in more trouble than he can handle, really the boy ain't at all fit to be a soldier. The very concept of war just terrifies him. Though once you have talked a big talk and got yourself into the situation, sometimes you gotta walk the walk.

Though, if you ask me, battle is no place for cowards.

Wellam really is just kinda another kid wielding a gun, not the best shot in the world, but at least he know to turn the safety off. (Took him a few times to learn that bit though)
