I used the brush tool in SAI to blend.

It is just a guideline sort of thing after all.
If you want some specifics:
I made this tut using an adjusted airbrush (sketching + colouring) and brush (for rough blending) in SAI
in PS, the equivalent tools would be the brush and the mixer brush
in other programs, it would be etc etc.

this is the only tutorial i use to help me out. this is my favorite out of all of the ones on DA so far. so it's SOOOO not lousy, it's perfect
