It's LONG!! fair warning. xD; Took me quite a few hours to complete. Another project I just got wound up in and had to complete. Now I can move on to other things easier. xD;
I hope it's helpful, never done a tutorial before... oO;

edit: xD;; I was informed the sizing was wrong before for the hand. I realized my mistake, the hand was held too high. It's fixed now... sorry about that!!!

Very well done! Simple and straightforward. If I might add, the middle and ring fingers don't really 'touch each other more often'; this is a hand pose (very much used in ballet), which you can see on statues and paintings from especially the Renaissance and Baroque periods, part of what is now called 'Baroque Gesture'. It's really fun to observe how stylised all these (hand and body) poses are...

Well, I tested it before I put that in- by looking at my own hand in a relaxed state. The middle and ring finger were closer touching than the other fingers were to each other. It is not to say that it is always the case, such as it is not always the case that the second toe is longer than the big toe (in my case, it is, buy my husbands toes are more straight across). This is an observance issue and this is suppose to be applied to art. At an artistic stand-point, it is more appealing to see, just as are longer legs and necks- but it doesn't mean that realisitically it is always the case. Thanks for the input.

This whole "baroque gesture" thing is actually very interesting, going (or actually coming from) all the way to ancient Rome and Greece - you can even see it in Rome, the TV series, used in the Senate. But I will ramble no more on baroque gesture.

I haven't been on in forever and I haven't drawn too much in an even longer time, and hands was always something that was a problem for me, they always came out looking weird. I just now realized using your tutorial the thing about he knuckles was what kept fucking me up, sure enough I tried drawing hands in many different positions and that was it. THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU SO FREAKIN' MUCH FOR HELPING ME FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG

I would like to point out though that the index finger and the ring finger length vary a lot from one person to the next. Some people have the index longer than the ring finge, some have them both the same length and some like me, have the ring finger longer than the index finger. Just pointing that out
