It's LONG!! fair warning. xD; Took me quite a few hours to complete. Another project I just got wound up in and had to complete. Now I can move on to other things easier. xD;
I hope it's helpful, never done a tutorial before... oO;
So, uh, yeah. Enjoy. And don't crit the work done, if you have a comment about content, that's fine (like something you wish I'd put in for instance) but to critique the actual tutorial I would rather you didn't. Thanks!
don't fave w/out commenting please & thank you!
edit: xD;; I was informed the sizing was wrong before for the hand. I realized my mistake, the hand was held too high. It's fixed now... sorry about that!!!
Extra: Thanks for all the support and faves on this! I'm glad it's so helpful and enjoyable!
Also take a look other tutorials!! Anatomy & Foot

^^

You've got a fair idea about hands, but this is nothing more than you can learn by just looking at your own hand for ten seconds.
It'd also help if the hand compared to the head wasn't completely out of proportion.

I never claimed to be an expert nor a professional. I made it to benefit some friends. If you don't find it helpful, that's not my fault.

This is definitely a needed tutorial as I know that hands are one of the hardest parts of the human body to draw.

odduckoasis In reply to AvengingKobold [2008-02-25 16:21:05 +0000 UTC]
No kidding. You wouldn't think they'd be eh? Being such a small part of the body and all, but human anatomy is difficult anyways. Glad it helped.

i hate it when people draw the ring finger and middle finger touching.
good tutorial tho.
π: 0 β©: 1
odduckoasis In reply to vibeXeuphoria [2008-02-25 16:12:15 +0000 UTC]
Hate is such a strong word. Those two fingers naturally are closer together, that's why it's easier to draw them that way. But if you don't want to, you don't have to. It's all good.
