well until the next Iron man movie this version of war machine will domy reasons for making this? I honestly just thought it would look cool after making Iron Lantern and seeing some other edits of this picture on the DA

I think you're confusing another character I could be wrong but War Machines history is:
Tony succumbs to alcoholism and begins losing his focus
James seeing his friend in trouble but the world still needing Iron Man. Takes the armor for himself.
After Tony recovers, James admits to liking the suit. Tony builds James the War Machine armor, a heavily armored, more artillery based armor to be used by Rhody.
At some point Rhody gets scared of being stuck in the armor (due to it losing power while he's inside)
Then I know at some point he gets an alien armor upgrade or something.
So I never really heard of him being a villain fighting Iron Man.

Probably because Tony was doing something stupid or what he "thought" was right.
In the first animated series they had a fight like that because Tony was mad at himself for designing the armor so he flew around attacking heroes who may or not being using technology based on the Iron Man armor.

in all honesty, I was never a real big Iron Man fan until just recently mainly because of the look and feel that gave him in most comics and his cartoon show, but I have been looking him up since then obviously and there was an Iron Monger
