uh... it's a great tutorial, and gives me lots of ideas so i have a little problem and maybe you can help me...
There's no linear light blending mode on PS6

Offering In reply to Harukaze74 [2005-03-03 00:48:59 +0000 UTC]

sorry about that.
you could experiment with the 'multiply', 'linear burn' or 'color burn' modes instead, or find another mode that produces results that almost match the idea of what you want to see created, then continue with adjusting the Hue/Saturation levels until it's an exact match.

thanks for the feedback, i'll make a note in the comment box for this tute.

Oh, don't worry too much, i'll fix it
Well, it's just i'm a little maniatic sometimes, i tried PS CS and i think it's a good software but i feel more confortable with PS6.
Anyhow, those tuts are great (i had benn a lot of time searching for something like "text blending" and i must say those tuts are so clear and understandable, good job.
just a little of time and i'll prove too the actions

fair enough, i never used 6. went straight from 5 to CS.
the feature in CS that really blew me away was the Shadow/Highlight image adjustment tool ..

I agree with the others, thanks for this! I've tried to do this before just winging it but the step I forgot was to erase the bits and clean it up that way. I spent hours playing with the hue/saturation and different layers, but I could have just erased parts! *smacks her forehead* One of the best/simpliest tutorials Ive seen!
