Description
It's readable at full-size!A tutorial which shows how to use channels to create a displacement map, which can then be used to wrap text onto a texture. The text appears to follow the curves/folds of the texture.

if....lets say... you were trying to but i new pic or something on a flag but the flag already had a design on it, would that interfere with the displacement map?

it would probably read the design as a height map ..
if you can get a quality image of a libyan flag, though, it might work .. it's the only country having a flag of just one colour.
and i've uploaded an image called 'red flag' .. which you're more than welcome to use ..

$50? In Oz, the retail price hovers around the $100. I kid you not. Glad you found the tutorial useful.
