so you take a negative view point on America and from the sounds of it Americans, i guess it is easier to brake things down to a non-humanising black and white. Almost the same way many christians use to go after so called sinners. we'll my fellow Agnostic America like every other place on the planet is more complicated then that. 

it is true we have total ass-hats, people that are so blinded by hate, greed, ignorance and pride that they are oblivious to how their actions effect others, but for every loud mouth we have a few dozen good people that bend over backwards to help others, the environment and human rights.

i wonder how you read the piece i left it up to every one to read it themselves i my self read all the black lines then the white.  so you asked about the "we are all Americans" it is meant to remove some of the extreme political strife that is going on here. "we are all Americans" means that it doesn't matter if you are a independent, republican or democrat. it doesn't matter if you are an atheist, agnostic or muslim, christian or jew. 

it is meant to remind us we (Americans) that we have more in common then not, we have a interesting shared history and have a bright future if we so choose it.   i am not sure why this was confusing and i would like to hear a little more from you then just tired stereotypes. 

last thought can a country really be so bad if we can have a event as awesome as wasteland weekend? (www.wastelandweekend.com)

Well, your nation is crumbling... kinda hard to ignore that... also, your negatives outweigh the positive, sadly. I deal with reality, not sure what black/white you're talking about. If there is something that I don't do, it's to simplify stuff like that. I've spoken no lies in the comment I wrote before, sue me for not turning a blind eye? Also, I don't use a book and go like "and then God said, kill all the faggots for they're dirty, just like eating shrimp." so comparing me with that is really silly.

I recall a guy who joked about this... what did he say... something like "hey, not all Americans are bad! there are at least 2 or 3 of us that isn't!". But I hope that the minority somehow gets through the ignorant masses, also better know as "the norm".

Why not go the extra mile and say "we're all human"? The American thing seems... I dunno, small minded to me. But I see your point, I just have a problem with group mentality. Seeing as it having caused major strife in this world over the lifespan of humanity.

so then the question is can you set aside your own bigotry to have a real conversation or are you so blinded by your hate that you are not able to except new ideas?

kind of reminds me how christians (the bad guys) use their bible to hate large groups of people based on stereo types.

so let it is easy enough to find out where i live (here) so my fellow agnostic acquaintance what country do you hail from or call home?

so you asked why not go the extra mile and say all humans, funny that was in my first draft , their are two reasons i used Americans instead of humans or humanity. 1: it happened in America and most of the people hurt and or killed where Americans. 2: from a pure aesthetics stand point it did not roll of the tongue right, so for those two reasons i went the way i did. you are the first person and only person to date that has any issue with it. 

but again it will be hard to have a honest conversation if you already decided everything about Americans and America so i wonder if it is worth the effort to go much beyond in a one ended conversation.

first sorry it took so long to reply i am getting ready for wasteland weekend, that takes up a ton of time right now. well there's one thing we can both agree upon, religion is not our favorite past time. 

so i must say Denmark is not not on my regular routine of countries to get news about. but after looking into you guys i must say it is a very interesting place with some let us say interesting practices.  so is the media their state run or is it a independent press? i read an article about how your supreme court banned ROJ-tv.
 we have a agency called the FCC they give out licences to tv and radio stations, but besides banning a few words they can't control content (not to say corporations don't flex their power when it comes to controlling content) how does denmark work?

anyways off point sorry. so you think America is the only country in the shitter? granted i fight almost every day against some of the things i see wrong with America, our political system is stalled because conservative ass munchers would rather hurt americans then get Obama cuties. we have way to much corporate money coming in to our political system and that has been used to push whole political system to the right. but things change and i know with hard work we can fix these issues.... as for issues going on with America and other countries (middle east russia and so on) that is just a big cluster fuck. 

i wonder how much you understand the American culture. i have done a bunch of reading about demark from ww2 through the cold war to now.

sure it raises questions and it gives me kind of a understanding on how your country works but it doesn't go near far enough for me to understand the people. and i could only guess how you would feel if i said denmark is a fucked up place because it would rather sell pork to Russia then to talk about the kurdish people on tv.  see what i did their take a few facts that may or may not have a connection and make one anyways then applying that wrong assumption to all the people of denmark.

look two stories that have nothing to do with each other are thus combined to make denmark look like a bunch of a holes. we call that fox newsing the facts  by the way.

First of all I want to say thanks to you for defending America by using logic rather than resorting to name calling. I'm an American and even I understand that our country isn't perfect but neither is any other country.I especially dislike it when people say that all problems would be solved if America didn't exist which isn't true at all. Anyways great art, I especially love the coloring.

I see it the same way as you where I know my part has some flaw. However it's choosing to accept the flaw and realizing that you can perhaps change it. I really do love my country but even I accept the fact that we have some problems and it really disgusts me when people are saying that the world would be better without America. Maybe someday we'll change for the better, at least I hope
