ETA: Holy Cheez Whiz! I *NEVER* in my life expected the response I have gotten from this custom pony! I've created a journal entry here: [link] That hopefully will answer some of the questions that have been asked. If you have sent me a note, give me a little time to respond because I've got a few to go through.

She was made from a Fluttershy Body and an Pinkie Pie head. Full Body Repaint wich has been sealed to protect against chips. Her little tongue has been sculpted from apoxie and sealed with triple gloss sealent for a wet look. Hair is dollyhair.com's Lemonade.

I just use a size 8 sewing needle and use a pair of wire cutters to cut the eye off at an angle

Lemonade is the lightest yellow they have. Most people use modge podge to spike the hair.

Hi Hi! I have watched your videos. Where can I get those lockable needle nose pliers that you have? and how much would they cost? also is there something else I can use besides an Exacto knife? And what types of brushes and acrylic paint do you use?

The pliers I found in the fishing section at Walmart and I think I paid like three or four dollars for them. I'd really go with the xacto knife. As long as you're careful, they won't tear up the neck of the ponies. You can pick one up at a hobby store or walmart for a couple of dollars. I use royal majestic brand brushes, and as far as paint, I use everything from craft acrylics like Folk Art and Delta Ceramcoat to high end acrylics like Createx and Liquitex.

How did you remove and then SAFELY reattach the head off of the Pinkie Pie WITHOUT damaging the rest of the pony? I am really curious and would like to attempt a personal pony toy for a dear friend.

Heat up a bit of water, and dunk the head into it for a couple of seconds. It will make the plastic nice and squishy so it comes off easier. Then, very carefully cut the neck plug out with an xacto knife. I reattach with superglue. I have a whole bunch of youtube videos that have step by step directions on prepping ponies.

That would make it a little easier to get the head off. I have tried that, but it doesn't give me the neck mobility I require. I watched the Derpy Hooves video and I got a little lost on spots, but I am sure I can figure it out. Thank you for the help.
