Specificity:
Bal'athi Shipyards' most successful military ship class
even surpasses its sister class, the Mequ'sakmoc-Class, in terms of sales figures
however, the Mequ'sakmoc-Class is only offered on the military ship market segment and is thus the most successful purely military ship model of Bal'athi Shipyards
the great success of the Tel'sakmoc-Class is based on three main reasons, in addition to the quality of Bal'athi Shipyards' products:
1st, the Tel'sakmoc-Class is one of the smallest and most compact carrier spaceship classes in the Milky Way
these ships are only half the length/height of a Rya'C-Class ship and are even slightly smaller than Tech Con's Uallach-Class Patrol Carrier
and yet the Tel`sakmoc-Class can transport a complete (Jaffa)squadron of twenty Jaffa-Teltame or F-302 during combat operations
the Uallach-Class, for example, has only half the transport capacity.
the Rya'C-Class, can transport up to six (standard)squadrons, two or three squadrons during combat operations, but is more expensive to purchase and maintain due to its larger size
the Tel'sakmoc-Class also lies between the two competing models in terms of firepower: It has more firepower than the Uallach-Class, but less than the Rya'C-Class
2nd, the Tel'sakmoc-Class, like the Rya'C-Class, has a multifunctional multi-purpose hangar deck (Situation-Dependent-Usable-Space, short SDUS) which the Uallach-Class does not have
therefore, the Tel`sakmoc-Class can be adapted to the respective situation with the help of universal connections and "shape-wall" technology
this class of ship can be used as a flagship, mobile base, hospital ship, research ship, freighter (material/personnel) etc. and much more
this makes these ships interesting for all SDFs that have to use small multi-purpose fleets for economic reasons, as they can hardly afford more specialised fleets
3rd, and last but not least, the Tel'sakmoc-Class, with slightly different equipment, is also offered on the civilian ship market segment as a multi-purpose space ship
the difference between the military and civilian versions is mainly that the civilian version, if armed at all, is only equipped with weapon systems from Tech Con and Henricus Octavius Corp
in addition, instead of the military shield system from Union Arms, a civilian system from TDTC will be installed
nevertheless, even as a civilian ship, the Tel'sakmok-Class still has an SDUS
which gives this class of ship an extraordinary flexibility that is rarely found in the civilian sector
and most of the civilian multi-functional multi-purpose space ships with an SDUS are mostly old USOC/IMC ships that are being decommissioned into the civilian sector
or they are specially made
the Tel'sakmok-Class is one of the few starship classes in the civilian sector that are in series production and already have an SDUS at the factory
due to its many advantages, the Tel'sakmoc-Class, along with the Rya'C-Class, is the most widely used carrier class among SDFs
whereby, the Rya'C-Class is popular with economically stronger worlds more for reasons of prestige than for practical reasons
USOC and IMC also used these ships very much
as with the Mequ'sakmoc-Class, USOC/IMC use is also the reason why these class are equipped as standard with weapon systems from Es'audil Solutions, the standard manufacturer of plasma weapons for the IUSP federal forces
as with the destroyers, the Tel'sakmok-Class can also be equipped with systems from Tech Con and Henricus Octavius Corp. on customer request
- and will be equipped for the civilian market exclusively with Tech Con/Henricus Octavius Corp., if a civilian client does not completely refrain from being armed
the USOC uses these ships in those situations where the Rya'C-Class is too large but the Kawalsy-Class is too small
- and like the Mequ'sakmoc-Class, the Tel'sakmok-Class is also used by the USOC in some PSOCs whose main areas of operation are near the galactic centre or in other difficult areas
the IMC, or COSSAO to be precise, uses Tel'sakmok-Class ships as forward mobile bases, transporters and carriers in covert operations
but the biggest user, proportionally, is, as with the Mequ'sakmoc-Class, the Thenyke SDF, for which these spaceships were developed
together, these two destroyer-type starship classes account for at least 50% of all Thenyke SDF capital ships
