Description
This is a sketch I did a while back of General JEB Stuart of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Both my brother and I like him, and yes, we love Gods & Generals!!
Drawn in pencil, I used a photo from an issue of a Civil War magazine as my reference. Notice he's holding his "impeccable hat"! :-D
I did this of my own accord, but as a sort of naughty experiment to see if I could draw better than some artist advertising in said magazine.
Of course I also knew the subject matter would please my brother, lol. I also drew one of Gen. Stonewall Jackson [link]

I like the details that you put into this, especially his eyes!
I think the eyes are a window to the soul.
You can tell a lot about someone by just looking into there eyes, you know?
