Description So for those of you who aren't too familiar with this here's an explanation of this:
Suskityrannus has appeared in When Dinosaurs Roamed America (2001) when it was not described yet and thought to be a species of dromaeosaur, which is how it appeared in the show. It appeared again a few years later in BBC'S Planet Dinosaur in 2011, but at this point it was known to be a tyrannosauroid and the show referred to it as 'Zunityrannus', an unofficial name. Only in 2019 it was officially named Suskityrannus hazelae.

Aerosteon was at first thought to be a carcharodontosaur and appeared in the Dinosaur Planet episode Alpha's Egg (2003), where it was referred to as a carcharodontosaur. The website for the show mistakenly called it Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, a species that had already died out by the time of the setting of the episode. Often speculated to be Giganotosaurus or Mapusaurus, it is actually Aerosteon, named in 2009 and now known to be a megaraptoran instead.

Torvosaurus was named in 1979 and is a large carnivorous theropod from the Morrison Formation of the USA, where many dinosaur documentaries have had episodes take place. So it could well have appeared in many documentaries taking the role of a large carnivore, but this role is usually given to Allosaurus. Only in 2011 when Dinosaur Revolution aired did it make an appearance as the superpredator of the Portugese Lourinha Formation.

The Tendaguru Formation in Tanzania, Africa has a wide array of dinosaurs from the late Jurassic, and is often compared to the Morrison Formation. Late Jurassic episodes are common in dinosaur documentaries, and the Morrison is almost always chosen as the setting. This however leaves out many other Formations that could also work and are far underrepresented like the Lourinha Formation of Portugal or Shishugou Formation of China, but the reason I listed the Tendaguru in this meme is that it has not been used as the setting of any documentaries at all (well not to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong), whilst Lourinha and Shishugou have both been the setting of segments in Dinosaur Revolution.

Documentaries do suffer from favoritism.

They sure do, Allosaurus being a rank B dinosaur celebrity kinda puts it in all late Jurassic segments.
