I know I said I won't upload much of these guys till I do a comic about them but then I remembered I had a sketchbook and that sketchbook was full of doodles, so...I got this idea that Nutter should occasionally carry Kevin on his back when they have no other way of getting around and ~PepperoniDeluxe made this wonderful picture about it -
but this was the initial sketch of the idea.
Kevin and Kevin the bird! I bet those two would love each other. Kevin would LOVE a pet (probably a big dog) but he can't care of a pet himself, Bernie can't do it either and Bernie's mother has no intention to get a third irresponsible living being in the house.
Nutter has a somewhat shady backstory. I'm unraveling it very slowly but let's just say there will be some uneasy moments in the story.
When I was drawing the AU picture I kinda wished it was the story I was writing. Because Kevin would totally become a cop if he could. Maybe I'll draw AU!Kevin some more later.
The next two sketches are brought to you by Olympics (that are totally named after me, you guys
). I liked the opening ceremony and I thought that Kevin would really enjoy it (especially considering that he loves his country and its capital). And Nutter would hate it just because he hates Kevin's childlike enthusiasm about things.The last sketch is of a character that didn't appear in the lineup. It's Professor Jerome, a seemingly nice pushover scientist working for the evil Corporation. He is Kevin's ally in the Corporation.... or at least he seems to be?
Let me know what you guys think! Does it still seem like something you would read? I'm really excited about upcoming comics and would like to know your opinion.

Hah, this bird was called "Stefan" in Polish version of "Up".

Oooh, I didn't know she was called Stefan! That's interesting. I wonder why they decided to change it, they normally never change names in Russian dubs. And yeah, I can relate to Nutter's picture too. And I don't care much about sports but I liked bits of the Olympics opening I saw.

In Polish dub names are changed almost always. Sometimes it's really funny because some names has funny context, but sometimes it's weird or even dumb. For example in Toy Story - they change "Woody" to "Chudy". It sounds similar but means something completely different - "Chudy" means "thin". It's little weird for me.
And in ADGTH names has been translated in very ingenious way and I like it. But rest of translation (dialogues) is very "unfaithful" and it's a bad thing. And guess what? They translated song "Love Survives" and it was total fail.
But oh, sometimes dubbing is good and sometimes no.
And my mom is watching Olympics all day.

Polish translation of songs in ADGTH sucks but in ADGTH2 it was really nice.
And I didn't saw opening ceremonies cause I was in mountains. I just saw these meme with queen's angry face.

Я определенно хочу прочесть эту историю!
Олимпиада меня просто сразила! Сначала один скетч, а потом второй! XD Я прям представляю, как это было бы, если б это был мультфильм!
А еще мне очень нравится альтернативный Кевин, прям вот сложно отвести от него взгляд (я люблю такой тип чуваков :3)! Хотя настоящий тоже славный, что уж делать!
А тень очень стильная. )

Спасибо! Скоро начну рисовать про них комиксы, надо только разгрести остальные проекты. Буду возвращаться к этим комментариям для вдохновения.
Рада, что Олимпиада порадовала! Я сейчас прямо не могу не рисовать этих ребят по любому поводу. Вот и Олимпиада...
Если бы это было ТТ, то альтернативного Кевниа ввести было бы очень просто. Но в ТТР они путешествуют только по времени. Хотя кто знает,что будет в будущем! В любом случае буду его иногда рисовать.

Мне ужасно интересно, куда они отправятся (имею в виду, в какое время)! ))
И я не могу это никак объяснить, но мне бы почему-то не очень хотелось видеть альтернативного Кевина в сюжете. Вот арты с ним - да, а в сюжете почему-то нет, но я правда не понимаю, с чем это связано. Тут нет никакой логики. Может, это я зря так говорю.

Машина это в некоторой степени ограничивает, так что к динозаврам или в далекое будущее они отправиться не могут (первое, что спросила моя мама - "если он путешествуют во времени, то почему его в будущем не вылечат?" хотя я вообще не уверена, что повреждения мозга когда-нибудь научатся лечить; предотвращать - может быть, а исправлять - как-то сомнительно).
Могу тебя успокоить, в обозримом будущем (у меня почти дописан большой сценарий) этого точно не будет.

Бедняга Кевин! Такой дружелюбный, а этот чувак на него орет! Отличные скетчи как всегда! Та картинка, где тень Наттера направляет на него пистолет, явно указывает на его самоубийственно нервный характер.
